Australia’s first engineered timber office building designed by Tzannes is fully structural in its external and interior appearance with exposed timber support columns and beams. The contrasting timber and glass interior setting was paired with Sea-Tex Non-Metallised fabric in high performance automated roller shade systems. The benefits in using Sea-Tex was not only the recycled ocean plastic yarn component, which makes up 50% of the fabrics overall weight but also the fine texture and clean visibility view-through.
